(NMC) — In support of higher education in the CNMI, Docomo Pacific has donated $5,000 in cash and in-kind donations, including an Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max to the Northern Marianas College Foundation for its Golf Open on March 23 and 24, 2024.

“We are excited to see a brighter future for the CNMI through higher education, and by supporting this year’s golf open, we’re investing in a brighter future for our islands,” said Docomo Pacific Brand Manager Brent Deleon Guerrero. “Docomo Pacific is proud to support the NMC Golf Open with a $5,000 contribution. This event embodies the spirit of community, and we’re thrilled to be a part of it.”

NMC’s tournament will be a two-day event at LaoLao Bay Golf and Resort. The tournament fee is $250.

“On behalf of the NMC Foundation, we are thankful for Docomo Pacific’s donation to our upcoming Golf Open,” said Ben Babauta, chair of the NMC Foundation.

The tournament, which is also the signature event of the NMC Foundation, aims to raise funds to build and equip modern, innovative campus facilities that will help expand the CNMI’s workforce development efforts, stimulate economic growth, and provide access to quality education for the residents of the Commonwealth.

Like previous tourneys, this year’s event will offer thousands of dollars in amazing hole-in-one prizes such as a 2024 Lexus RX350 from Atkins Kroll, a 2023 Honda Civic Type R from Joeten Motors, a $10,000 shopping spree from Top Shelf Wine and Spirits, a $10,000 cash prize from Ambyth Shipping, a $10,000 cash prize from Pacifica Insurance, and a $3,000 cash prize from McDonald’s of Saipan.
