(SCC) — The Saipan Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce its 1st Quarter Professional Development Training, focused on “Teamwork & Team Building.” This training session is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 29, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. The event will take place at the Marianas Business Plaza, 6th Floor, Suite 604.
Facilitated by Jim Arenovski of Island Training Solutions, this training aims to equip participants with valuable insights and practical strategies to enhance teamwork within their organizations. The agenda includes:
• Establishing a comprehensive orientation and onboarding process for new team members.
• Articulating the mission and expectations under company “Mission Possible” to guide team performance.
• Engaging the team in an aspiration exercise to collectively define and aim for high-performance standards.
• Ensuring team expectations are met through a commitment to clarity, consistency, attentive listening, and follow-through.
• Implementing coaching strategies to support continuous improvement and development within the team.
• Evaluating team composition to identify any missing elements contributing to building a truly great team.
• Emphasizing effective communication strategies to maximize collaboration and understanding within the team.
The training promises a dynamic and interactive session, providing attendees with practical tools and strategies to foster a positive and productive team environment.
