KOROR (Palau Horizon) — The French ambassador to Palau, Renee Veyret, will visit the country from June 19 to 26 to present her credentials to President Tommy Remengesau.
Veyret replaces Ambassador Gilles Chouraqui who has completed his term.
Veyret is scheduled to meet with Palau Cabinet members and will visit several sites and offices here during her one-week trip.
The new French ambassador will pay courtesy calls to the director of foreign affairs, the minister of state, the minister of commerce and trade, the minister of resources and development, and the minister of education.
