THREE persons were arrested for allegedly engaging in prostitution activities.
Liyuan Zhang Attao, 40, and Xia Tang, 32, were charged with prostitution.
In a separate case, Su Yong Mei, 39, was charged with promoting prostitution and prostitution.
The Superior Court set a $1,000 cash bail each for Attao and Tang, and $2,000 cash for Su.
Arraignment was set for June 17.
According to Assistant Attorney General Stephen Wadsworth, the three defendants on Thursday “did unlawfully offer to engage in sexual conduct with another person or persons for a fee.”
Su “did knowingly profit from prostitution or advance prostitution,” the prosecutor alleged.
No other details were given.
