Presidents’ Summit rescheduled

KOROR (Palau Horizon) — The scheduled June 8 to 11 Presidents Summit among the leaders of the Federated State of Micronesia, Palau and the Marshall Islands has been scheduled.

President Tommy Remengesau said since Marshall Islands President Kessai Note will attend the Food Summit in Italy, the summit will be held on another date.

The three presidents are set to discuss issues affecting their countries and other areas of cooperation, including the update on FSM’s Compact renegotiation sand Palau’s bid to become a member of the National Carriers Association.

The leaders will also discuss the extradition law and other banking legislation recently passed by Palau.
