THE administration will work with the media to help avoid any misinformation and/or miscommunication.
Gov. Juan N. Babauta said that during yesterday’s Cabinet meeting, he and Lt. Gov. Diego T. Benavente “tried to get some inputs” from the Cabinet members on how to release information to the media.
“(We talked about) how to disseminate information and on what form…and on whether or not we would allow the media in this executive session of the Cabinet,” the governor said.
During Cabinet meetings, however, Babauta said, “ideas are tossed around as possible steps to take, but they are not necessarily the policies we will implement.”
He added, “We just don’t want the media to misconstrue the ideas discussed in executive sessions.”
