CPA seeks employees’ suggestions, comments

TO promote the active involvement of its employees and create a “more positive working environment,” the Commonwealth Ports Authority has distributed suggestion boxes to all its offices.

Five of the suggestion boxes were placed on Saipan—at the CPA administration office, the operations department, the fire station, the terminal maintenance department and the seaport office. Rota and Tinian got one box each.

In his memorandum, CPA Executive Director Carlos H. Salas said the suggestion boxes are designed to get inputs from employees who want to share information, air constructive comments, concerns or suggestions.

“To promote efficiency, improve employee productivity and create a more positive working environment at CPA, suggestion boxes have been placed at various departments for CPA employees to submit constructive comments, concerns or suggestions,” Salas said.

“We have always believed that you also want to improve CPA overall. Perhaps the suggestion boxes will help you and other CPA employees contribute towards that goal,” he added.
