Primos, Par-D-Pak stay on top

(SSA) – Team Primos and Par-D-Pak remained in the top four slot and Familia handed the League-leading Verizon Volcanoes their second loss of the season with a, 7-0, forfeiture win in last Tuesday’s Saipan Softball Association Men’s Slowpitch League.

In the first game of the evening, Jerry Ayuyu, Ben Hocog, Roy Tarope, and Mark Toves each homered to lead the Primos over Fadang in five innings, 19-9. Fadang took a, 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning, but the Primos responded with six runs of their own in their half of the inning to take the lead for good, 6-2. They went on to outscore Fadang 14-7 the rest of the way for the win.

The second game of the evening saw the League Leading Volcanoes suffered their second loss of the season in the hands of Team Familia by virtue of a forfeit as they suited only eight players at game time.
