CUC Rota employee accused of theft

THE Attorney General’s Office yesterday filed criminal charges against an employee of the Commonwealth Utilities Corp. on Rota for allegedly stealing $746 from CUC last year.

Alicia May Ogo, 37, was charged with theft and theft by unlawful taking. She was summoned to appear and answer the charges in Superior Court on June 7.

Assistant Attorney General David Walsh alleged that from April 30 through Nov. 8, 2001, Ogo unlawfully took the money from CUC.

Walsh also alleged that the defendant “unlawfully took or exercised unlawful control over $746 from CUC.”

No other details were given in court papers.
