Man charged for alleged burglary, sexual abuse

THE government yesterday filed three separate criminal cases against a 21-year-old man who allegedly burglarized three houses and sexually abused a girl on Rota.

John Lee Hocog Manibusan was charged with three counts of burglary, two counts of disturbing the peace, one count of sexual abuse of a child, one count of criminal trespass and one count of theft.

Manibusan was summoned to appear and answer the charges in Superior Court on June 7.

Assistant Attorney General David M. Walsh alleged that on Nov. 15, 2000, Manibusan burglarized a residence and sexually abused a minor.

Walsh also alleged that on Oct. 29, 2000, the defendant broke into another house.

On Nov. 13, 2000, Manibusan allegedly broke into a residence and a workers’ barracks where he stole a mountain bicycle.
