Gov. Arnold I. Palacios and Lt. Gov. David M. Apatang met recently with the administrator of Federal Emergency Management Agency, Deanne Criswell, and her team, which included Region 9 Administrator Robert Fenton, Jr., Region 9 Integration Team Lead Brian Beck. They discussed the status of FEMA-funded infrastructure projects and emergency preparedness in the CNMI. On behalf of the CNMI, Palacios and Apatang expressed appreciation for FEMA’s consistent presence in the Commonwealth.
