(DPS) — The Department of Public Safety will conduct DUI sobriety checkpoints on Monday, Feb. 12, 2024.
The first setup will be on Chalan Monsignor Guerrero Road, Dandan to Chalan Kiya, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The second setup will be on Beach Road, Garapan, on the southbound lane by Fishing Base from 4:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
The third setup will be on Chalan Pale Arnold, Chalan Laulau on the southbound outer lane by Ambyth Shipping, from 7:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.
The purpose of these scheduled checkpoints is to promote public safety while increasing awareness of the dangers of driving while under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication while on the island’s roadways.
DPS would also like to remind the public to have a safe and enjoyable Super Bowl Monday.
