SAIPAN’S Marianas High School and Guam’s Father Duenas Memorial School played a friendly soccer match that ended in a scoreless draw, 0-0, at the NMI Soccer Training Center in Koblerville on Wednesday.
The MHS roster consisted of Terell Hix-Kileleman, Isiah Hossain, Mark Costales, Leland Deleon Guerrero, Anthony Bergancia, Paul Anthony Lizama, Zhi Xiang Lin, Wataru Kadokura, Tyler Omelau, Andrew Sablan, Emerson Brillo, Cody Shimizu, Kristoffer Pascual, Pritom Sen, Jereme Quimzon, Minul Hoque, Takeru Jim, Rooney Gil, Espiritu Prince and Shakir Takir. Their coach is Don Cabrera.
MHS recently won the boys high school division championship of the NMIFA-PSS Interscholastic Soccer League.
The Father Duenas Memorial School roster consisted of Jacob Toves, Landon Miles, Beau Perez, Samuel Stenson, Sean Halehale, Gio DeVera, Donovan Moss, Erwin Manibusan, Ian Dickson, Kian Rivera, Nicolas Chargualaf, Arthur Manglona, Aaron Lupola, Malcolm Ogo, Mason Manibusan and Kaynin McIntosh.
Father Duenas Memorial School topped the 2023 Independent Interscholastic Athletic Association Boys Soccer League on Guam in December, and won a postseason game against the JFK Islanders, 3-0, earlier this month.
