(SCC) — The Saipan Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for its upcoming Annual Business Person of the Year Gala, slated to take place on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024, at the Kensington Hall, Kensington Hotel Saipan with the theme “Hafa Adai yan Tirow.” This gala is not only a celebration of business excellence in the CNMI but also a momentous occasion for the induction of the SCC’s newly elected and returning board of directors.
The chamber would like to extend the invitation to the community to join us for a memorable evening filled with elegance, recognition, and a touch of local flair, as we encourage attendees to dress in island formal wear to embrace our island’s unique style.
This gala will feature awards in several categories, including the 2023 Chamber Member of the Year, 2023 Non-profit of the Year, 2023 Small Business of the Year, and the newly introduced 2023 Sustainable Business of the Year, in collaboration with the Mariana Islands Nature Alliance, a proud chamber member. The selected awardee of each category must have demonstrated exceptional dedication, innovation, and community impact throughout the year.
The highlight and tradition of the evening will be the awarding of the 2023 Business Person of the Year, a recognition granted to an individual who has demonstrated exceptional leadership and influence within the business community and beyond.
