ROTA Mayor Benjamin T. Manglona is willing to resume negotiations with Global Country of World Peace, which earlier wanted to establish its “peace capital” on the island.
In return for bringing in “billions of dollars,” Global Country wanted Rota to secede from the CNMI which the island officials said was not possible.
“But I still think that there is still an offer,” the mayor told Variety last week.
Two weeks ago, Global Country announced that found a new site for its “peace capital” in Costa Rica.
