HONIARA (Pacnews) — A vessel that had been adrift in Solomon Islands since Monday with 120 people onboard arrived safely in Honiara yesterday.
The Endeavour 2 vessel left Temotu provincial capital Lata on Sunday on its way to Honiara but on Monday developed engine problem and started drifting.
The Search and Rescue Division of the Ministry of Works, Transport and Communications on Wednesday sent the Patrol Boat Lata to transfer the passengers from the Endeavour 2 to Honiara.
