Man arrested for disturbing the peace, among other charges

(DPS) — On Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020, at about 10:01 p.m., the Department of Public Safety received a 911 call reporting a disturbance in Papago, Saipan. Police units were dispatched to the scene.

At the scene, police met with the individuals involved and learned that the incident occurred at Raymond Fitipol Adolfo’s residence.

A female individual went to the house to gather her belongings but Adolfo refused.

At this time Adolfo heard a loud vehicle revving just down the road so he went to check it.

Adolfo then noticed the female’s prior acquaintance in a vehicle.

Adolfo stated that the vehicle began approaching him so he picked up a rock and threw it at the vehicle’s front windshield damaging it.

Adolfo stated that after he had thrown the rock, he noticed that his two children were in the vehicle.

Adolfo was arrested for disturbing the peace, and assault with a dangerous weapon. He was transported to the Department of Corrections where he was booked and detained.

On the same day, a Rule 5 was signed and authorized by Judge Teresa Kim-Tenorio for the charges of disturbing the peace, assault, assault with a dangerous weapon, and tampering with a vehicle with a cash bail of $10,000.

At about 7:40 p.m., on the same day, Adolfo was served at the Department of Corrections where he was being detained.
