During his birthday, Camacho is expected to offer his resignation to Pope Benedict VXI as required by Canon Law.
The pope will decide whether to accept the resignation.
The committee is chaired by Helbert Del Rosario. “On Bishop Camacho’s 75th birthday, we will have a dinner fundraiser to raise $75,000 for the Diocese of Chalan Kanoa,” Del Rosario said.
Tickets will be sold for $75 each.
