Lizama was only the Legislature’s fourth highest pointer of the game but the two straight penalty shots gave him the chance to go 4-for-4.
Ernest Duenas who topped the scoring list with 33 points when they lost to Pacific Telecom Inc., during last week’s game went into shooting rampage again, hitting 24 markers.
Joel Punzalan scored 20 points and Ray Duenas added 15 points.
Tinian’s Ton Borja who scored 25 points hit the final three-pointer but still ran short to cope up with Lizama’s four penalty shots.
BOG 90, DPS 88
In the second game, David Palacios and James Lee both made single penalty shots to lead Bank of Guam Express survived Department of Public Safety Policia, 90-88.
James Villacrusis who carried the team almost single-handedly in the second quarter scoring 12 points, scattered a total of 27 points including the three shots from the arc.
Randy Pelisamen who led BOG to 93-91 victory over Department of Correction firing 31 points last Monday scored 13 points.
Charles Peters also scored 13 points and Jason Taisacan added 10 points.
DPS’s Jun Saralu scored 38 points including three three-pointers. He also went 5-for-7.
