Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque, who is also the IATF spokesman, said the new directive amends the previous IATF order which requires people to wear face shields and face masks only when entering enclosed spaces or establishments such as malls.
The wearing of face masks in public places was ordered mandatory since April.
As of Monday, there were 450,733 confirmed cases of Covid-19 nationwide, including 418,723 recoveries and 8,757 deaths.
