SIS triumphs in middle school cross country

In the girls category, SIS was the only team to qualify.

Phoenix Gross finished first among the SIS runners, completing the course with a time of 00:20’00. Rebecca Eaton joined in 30 seconds later in 2nd place while Hoo Wang (00:23’36) finished 3rd and Eva Lizunova came in 4th.

Hopwood Middle School’s Shoko Litulumar took the first spot among the individual runners with a time of 00:18’11 while Francisco Middle School’s Teneasha Diaz and Nerita Sellem finished  4th and 7th.

Boys category

The boys division was also dominated by Saipan International School.

SIS’s Dong Hyun Lee led his team  with a finish time of 00:16’05 while Gyu Hyeon Park (00:16’29), Casey Chambers (00:16’32), and Christian Newman (00:16’35) were right behind in 2nd, 3rd and 4th places.

Another SIS runner, Kyle Kramer, came in 6th with a time of 00:18’57.

As the only other qualified team, Saipan Community School was second place overall.

SCS’s Elija Ye finished 5th  with a time of 00:17’15 while Dwight Crisostomo was in 7th place with 00:18’21 and David Ye was in 8th with 00:22’29.

Francisco Middle School’s Christian Lucero finished first among the individual runners, clocking in at 00:15’30 while Daniel Sano ended in 13th place.

Mount Carmel School’s June Yu finished 7th, Hopwood Middle School’s Charles Guiang was 10th, and Tyrone Manipon, 12th.
