BBJ Fitness Corner PT Evolution: Efficient and Functional “Stronger, Faster, High Endurance”

TRAINING has always been part of the norm in order for an individual to get the desired results and with the help of Gold’s Gym Personal Trainer Jerry Diaz, a better understanding of about approaching training to transfer onto daily life to be stronger, faster and efficiently functional.

“Overtime, as a 6-year certified personal trainer and functional fitness class instructor, I continue to learn about the purpose of training. Using myself as a guinea pig, I begin to experience how age, the environment and mental health affect our performance in our daily life.” stated Diaz. Fitness training has been my sanctuary of getting away from the daily stresses of life. When we tend to have a passion to help others, we begin to fatigue our mind and body which needs to be recharged and rebuilt. This is when a combination of fitness, nutrition, and recovery is essential in becoming the best version of ourselves.” He added. Then comes the evolution of being a certified personal trainer. With that, training has become even more meaningful to Diaz providing individuals with fitness nutrition programs for performance enhancements that will efficiently and functionally help each person get stronger, faster and with longer endurance to performance at higher levels whether they are an athlete, a parent, doctor, soldier, teacher or a business owner. Diaz shared that, “the goal reflects on enhance focus to avoid injuries with quality movements during our daily life.”

When it comes to Diaz’s clientele prgram, each client presents a different fitness need financial availability, time , goals and a mindset on how to make those goals a reality. “As a certified fitness trainer, I’ve learned that the focus is not about how I want them to get there. Or making them follow my way of training, however, it is to present the idea the importance of why a certain program is important to enhance their daily living experience.” Diaz said. “Meeting halfway to encourage, motivate and build around their present level of needs creates an atmosphere of open communication that is healthy, honest and can last longer to build a positive habitual practice that will result to independent training approach.” He added.

According to Diaz, the overall goal is to be stronger, faster and have longer endurance. There are many areas to cover during traning to enhance our daily lives. Optimal training includes focusing not only on strength, speed and endurance, but performance enhancement also includes balance, agility, and plyometrics, while training outside of the bodybuilder norm provides an individual of a vast array of exercise opportunity to explore. “Our focus is keen, our movements are efficient, and we stand out as the hardest working individuals in our settings.” shared Diaz. This experience should be at home. Throwing the trash is not a hassle. Planting is now fun. Cleaning the yard takes minimal effort. And spending time with family to cook meals or go out for beach day is not a hassle. This is a similar goal for professional athletes who work to perform in a sport at the highest level. They must train and work to improve to efficiently better in the court, on the field with enhanced mental focus and physical endurance to repeat a successful movement over and over. Diaz said that it is all about efficiency and functionality with a purpose and that starts with having a mindset to be stronger, faster with lnoger endurance.
