The Staff Senate serves as the official representative body of the college’s administrative and support staff. Primarily focused on addressing general staff issues and in making corresponding recommendations to the NMC president, the Staff Senate is an important part of the college’s participative governance structure.
Part of the Staff Senate’s responsibilities includes assisting in determining the need for, initiating and developing, and reviewing policies that affect the staff.

“I’m excited to serve as a senator for the staff,” incoming Staff Senate President Geri Rodgers said. “Our vision is to continue the work of increasing staff morale. We have plans to support the college’s mission, to build up one another, and to have a great time working at NMC.”
“I would like to congratulate the newest members of NMC’s Staff Senate,” NMC Interim President Frankie Eliptico said. “The new senators all possess extensive experience and are all very much committed to NMC’s mission.
