Located at the corner of Kadena Di Amor St. and Alaihai Avenue, August Supermarket sells a variety of merchandise ranging from kitchenware to children’s toys.
“We have many items that shoppers cannot find in other stores,” store owner Justine Ayuyu said.
In addition, “we provide good service and affordable prices,” he said.
As local residents, Ayuyu said he and his family are aware that the people are living through trying times.
“So it’s always about the price. People would always choose to go to a store where the prices are more affordable,” he added.

“We got good prices and we guarantee that good service will be provided to customers from the moment they step into our store,” Ayuyu said.
The store cashiers and other staffers are friendly and helpful: they say “welcome” to everyone coming in, and “thank you” to those leaving the store.
Since the Covid-19 pandemic remains a major concern, August Supermarket complies with the government safety measures, including social distancing and the use of face masks.
At the store entrance, moreover, customers undergo temperature check and are provided with hand sanitizers.
Ayuyu’s other business partners are his father, Augustin Ayuyu Sr., and brothers Austin Ayuyu and Agustin Ayuyu Jr.
