Saipan’s James David selected to be part of Dixie State U song and dance performing team

Selected after an extensive audition process, David and the 23 other student performers will represent DSU at engagements on campus, throughout the community, and even at a global level as they assist the university in recruiting efforts.

“Being on Raging Red has a lot of opportunities to serve and make a difference in the world around me,” said Sadie Brinkerhoff, Raging Red stage manager. “It means giving back to my friends, campus and community.”

Raging Red began in 2009 under the direction of Merrilee Webb. During her tenure, Raging Red recruited throughout Utah and the Western United States. Performance tours also took them to China, Japan, New York City and Hawaii.

Now, with current Director Geoff Reynolds, Raging Red continues to carry out his vision for the performers — to create art that matters and inspires, uplifts and tells the human experience. “This year’s talented cast has geared up for distanced live performances and is making a virtual splash,” Reynolds said.
