To maximize student and employee safety, most NMC classes (90% of classes) will be offered through a virtual or online platform. Only a few classes have an in-person, face-to-face component.

Because of ongoing work and discussions with the Covid-19 Task Force,  all face-to-face and hybrid classes will begin virtually or online for the first two weeks of the Fall 2020. All other courses will proceed as scheduled and in the format indicated.

What does this mean?

From Aug. 17 to 29, 2020 courses with a face-to-face component (these classes are labeled as “Face to Face” or “Hybrid” in the class schedule) will be meeting on NMC Online (Moodle) or Zoom.

On Aug. 31, 2020, face-to-face instruction will continue on campus.

Expect the details for your face-to-face courses from your instructor.

Students are asked to check their NMC email accounts for additional updates or instructions from their instructor.

Students who have any questions are also asked to contact their instructor(s). For assistance with accessing classes online through NMC Online (Moodle) or virtually through Zoom, contact the distance learning education coordinator, William Hunter at [email protected] or send a text message to 483-0219.

For immediate assistance, you may also call the NMC hotline at  285-7651 or  285-2059.
