The plan will provide content on environmentally friendly and safety practices for an eco-certification marine sports operator course at Northern Marianas College.
Those who take and pass the course can avail themselves of a “third tier status operation” in the Division of Coastal Resources Management Marine Sports Operator Permit and will be eligible for a 25% discount on permitting fees.
To provide input, marine sports operators are asked to choose to either schedule a meeting with DCRM, review the plan and submit comments to DCRM, or take a DCRM survey.

Marine sports operators who take the survey may receive complimentary ‘Reef Report’ stickers from DCRM.
