The governor reappointed election commissioners Joseph E. Santos of Tinian and Lelanie I. Manglona of Rota.
He also nominated Doris Aldan Atalig to serve a three-year term on the election commission representing Saipan.
In his nomination letters to Senate President Victor B. Hocog, the governor said he is pleased to renominate Santos and Manglona, adding that he is confident that they will continue to be assets “on this important commission.” If confirmed, Santos and Manglona will serve another three-year term that ends on July 21, 2024.
For the NMC board, the governor reappointed Irene T. Torres for another four-year term and nominated Michelle Lin Sablan to serve a four-year term on the board.
All these nominations require Senate confirmation.
