At the scene, officers noticed a group of people gathered near the Paris Croissant bakery. As police approached the group, they noticed two individuals restraining another.
Police quickly learned that the individual being restrained had just thrown an object toward the window of the Godfather’s bar before fleeing the scene. The owner of the bar and a bystander heard the sound of glass shatter and noticed an individual running away from the scene. Both individuals managed to catch the individual and restrain the suspect until police arrived.
At about 9:59 p.m., Matthew Geisel was placed under arrest for criminal mischief and was brought to Kanoa Resort for clearance before being transported to the Department of Corrections to be booked and processed.
