Club president Eden Mercado said Pauline Kapileo and Father Jayferson Baldelovar assisted them in the distribution of care packages.
She said they also distributed 50 care packages consisting of rice, butane canisters, noodles and sardines to community members in As Lito.
The club, she added, is grateful to the following sponsors and donors: Alpex Saipan Inc., Lyn Reyes of Sapphire Enterprises Inc., Arman Amog, Mila Pellegrino of Saipan Ice & Water Co., and Blanca Imbo of the Guam Lions and other club members.

“This was the food bank that our club organized during the pandemic to help our community during this pandemic time,” Mercado said, referring to the care packages they distributed.
In Tanapag, she said, they have asked the parish assistance to help identify those in need of help while in As Lito, they used their adopted bus stop as the distribution site.
On Aug. 26, Mercado said they collaborated with the Saipan Mighty Dolphins Leo Club to donate 40 hygiene kits to Marianas High School.
She encourages businesses and community members to partner with the club so it can continue its care package distribution program.
