On Saturday, May 13, 2023, Evergreen Learning staff member Nerine Villagomez conducted a four-hour training on inclusive practices, and provided information on the law that protects individuals with disabilities and the different categories of disabilities under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. The training also engaged participants through meaningful discussions and fostered an understanding of the need to assist all students, especially those with special needs in an inclusive classroom. This training was made possible through funding from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the Office of Child Care, and the CNMI CCDF Program under the Department of Community and Cultural Affairs
