Burglary and theft incident at Northern Islands Mayor’s Office

At about 8:57 a.m., police arrived at the office location and met with two staff members who called for police assistance earlier. The staff members led police to the furthest end of the office. Police noticed a window that had been tampered with and forced open.

Items reported missing from the office include: one Asus desktop computer, one Intel computer monitor, and one white wifi internet modem (standard IT&E rental modem).

DPS would like to remind the public to be diligent when purchasing electronic devices from unknown individuals, or online.
