“It’s unfortunate that many facilities I normally have access to have been temporarily closed due to the pandemic,” he said in an interview. “Luckily, the apartment where I stay has a gym, but open for a limited time only.”

Factor aims to remain in top shape. “I spend an hour and half lifting weights, doing bodyweight workouts, and running two miles on the treadmill.”

He added, “I have never seen anything like this. Covid-19 has affected our lives and it is truly devastating to witness such a pandemic.”

He said the Dixie State University campus in Utah where he also works has been temporarily closed due to the outbreak. “Luckily, I stocked up on food and cleaning essentials before the lockdown happened,” he added.

Regardless of the current crisis, Factor said he still dreams big and aims to play basketball again once the world heals from Covid-19. “I’m in my first year of college and I’m still trying to adjust to living alone, but I continue to practice and develop my skills.” He is studying video footage of his past basketball games as an MCS Knight and an NMI Roller. “I still strive to better myself in any given situation,” he added.
