Co-sponsored by the CNMI Women’s Association, the Women’s Affairs Office along with community partners, the theme for this year’s Women’s Month is “Continuing to Rise: Women Leading Sustainable Development.”
The series of Women’s Month activities will kick off with a proclamation signing on Friday, Feb. 28, at 10 a.m. at the multi-purpose center in Susupe hosted by the Women’s Affairs Office under the Office of the Governor, followed by the following series of events:
• Sunday, March 1: “Day of Prayer” 9:30 a.m. at Kristo Rai Parish hosted by the Women’s Affairs Office under the Office of the Governor.
• Friday, March 6: “Women’s Recognition Day” (time to be announced) hosted by first lady Diann Torres and second lady Wella Palacios.
• Saturday, March 7: “Meet & Greet” from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the multi-purpose center, hosted by the Women’s Affairs Office under the Office of the Governor.
• Tuesday, March 17: “Master Class” from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (venue to be announced) hosted by the Saipan Chamber of Commerce.
• Tuesday, March 24: “CNMI Women’s Expo” hosted by the CNMI Women’s Association at the Carolinian Utt.
• Friday, March 27: “Women’s Summit” hosted by the CNMI Women’s Association at Fiesta Resort & Spa.
