The power division metering management is overseeing the field performance of the project, which involves the installation of Nighthawk meters at single-phase residential and government accounts on Tinian, Camacho added.
On Saipan, from April 1 to June 3, 2019 he said they installed 1,026 Nighthawk meters, or just 4.5 percent shy of the installation target of 1,074 meters.
Phase 2 on Tinian started on Oct. 4, 2019, and CUC has already completed 524 of the 730 meters to be installed.
Camacho said phase 3 on Saipan and Tinian will be implemented this year.
For the net metering program, he said the total grid connected systems amount to 4.1 megawatts for Saipan, Tinian and Rota.
CUC is reviewing 34 percent or 213 of the 625 net metering accounts for grid connection, Camacho added.
CUC has also approved 66 percent or 412 of the 625 net metering accounts, Camacho said.
