The call center, the power plants, and his office remain open, he added.

“But we try to minimize contact with our employees and customers,” he said, adding that CUC is also encouraging clients to avail themselves of CUC’s online transaction service when paying bills.

“We encourage online service especially for high-risk people such as the elderly,” he added.

For those who do not have capability for online transaction, CUC has prepared an area at its billing section to “minimize exposure and contact with each customer,” Camacho said.

“We have in place internal adjustments to minimize contact —safety is paramount,” he added.

Camacho said all CUC off-island travels have also been cancelled except for Rota and Tinian.
