During the day-one qualifier round, he made it to the top four by clipping a gross of 83 with a handicap of 15 for a net score of 68.
Joe Torres topped the qualifier with a gross of 81 minus a handicap of 16 for a net score of 65. Following right behind him was Manny Tenorio who grossed 85 with a handicap of 19 for a net score 66.
On the second day, Duenas stepped up his game with more precision swings.
Holding a handicap of 15, he shot a gross of 86 for a net score of 71. For his two-day performance, his total net score was 139.
Coming in at second place was Roy Ada who had a net of 70 in the qualifier round and a low gross of 84 on the second day. With a handicap of 15, his net score was 69 and his total net score was 139 — a tie with Duenas.
But Ada had to settle for second place due to the score card playoff in which Duenas parred hold #17 while Ada ended with a bogey.
Bill Quitano locked in third place with a net of 67 on day one and a net of 76 on day two for a total net score of 143.
