Customs to issue new declaration forms in February

The new form, he added, is smaller. “It is also more concise — we eliminated some unnecessary questions.”

He said the new form, which will be easier for residents and visitors to fill out, was created in consultation and collaboration with the Marianas Visitors Authority.

Lt. Gov. Arnold I. Palacios lauded Customs for coming up with the new declaration form.

“Thank you so much for the work you continue to do,” he added.

The customs declaration form is handed out to airline passengers traveling to Saipan, and includes questions about the passenger’s reasons for visiting the CNMI, and his or her personal information.
