THE Marianas Surf Skate League will host the Marianas Skate Series at Saipan Skate Park on May 27, Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
League organizer David Cabrera said registration is ongoing for the competition, which will follow the Olympic Street format.
According to the Marianas Surf Skate League’s official Instagram account, funds raised at the tournament will go toward maintaining the Saipan Skate Park.
Cabrera said aside from the competition, there will be a youth skateboarding clinic and on-site vendors. There will also be a “jam session” for beginner skaters, which will help them get accustomed to the skate park.
