TAMBAYAN G.V.D. Mix B won the Bud Light Cup in the Latte Stone B Division of the 2023 SEDA Bud Light Dart League at 6JMS Sports Bar on Tuesday.
G.V.D. were unmatched as they left 6JMS Bandits LatteB in the dust.
G.V.D.’s Max Akko and Adarino Halito, along with Chris “White Tip” Jones and Mayson “Black Tip” Umulap, swept the opening Partners 501 match to lead 2-0.
In the individual games, G.V.D. remained dominant with Mario Abo joining in the onslaught for a 4-0 sweep that extended their lead, 6-0.
The Bandits managed to stop the bleeding with a two-win sweep in the Partners 701 match thanks to Coby Santos and Stan Cande, along with Kyle Mihkel and Jovohni Santos.
But their time in the spotlight was short-lived as G.V.D.’s Chris Jones and Akko snagged two victories in the Singles Half-It match to win the match and claim the Bud Cup title, 8-2.
