PTI rally past Autonomous, 95-88

It was too close game in every period which Eldredon started with a three-pointer in the first quarter and finished it with an easy shot.

Autonomous’ Ponce Rasa picked a deliberate and committed a technical foul right afterwards allowing Esdrelon to tie the score as he basketed all four penalty shots during decisive run of the third quarter that ended 64-64.

Esdrelon hit a total of 22 markers including two three-pointers and basketed a total of eight free throws; while Mendoza scattered 24 points.

Ryan Sanciangco also invested in free throws to finish with 19 points, and Kelvin Fitial added 17 points.

Ed Diaz scored 29 points for Autonomous, and Steve Rasa added 14 points.

DPW 89, CPA 72

Edgar Pangelinan went into shooting rampage, scoring 35 points including three rainbow shots from outside the arc and six straight free throws in the final quarter to lift Department of Public Works past Commonwealth Ports Authority, 89-72 in the second game.

Ray Takai who helped established an early lead in the first quarter scored 21 points, and Frank Iglesias added 12 points.

Jerome Reyes scored 28 points for CPA.
