You note that his “political connections are as extensive as those of his opponents,” implying that Kilili, too, favors and is influenced by his political connections, and will do so in this campaign.
To the contrary, I’ve met very few political figures who have as much integrity, who work as hard to be fair and impartial and removed from family and political pressure, as Kilili. Elections conducted during his tenure have been totally free of any charges of favoritism of any kind — a major achievement in this highly political setting of inter-related families. In my opinion, he is a far more credible candidate than any of the others.
