CNMI Little League majors lose World Series bid in HK

The CNMI All Stars who settled for second place in the Pacific Pool will be playing against Asia Pool second placer, Chinese-Taipei for the regional third place.  

Pacific Pool first placer, Guam will meet Asia pool winner, Hongkong for the Asia-Pacific Regional Championship.

Frank Camacho, the Saipan Little League’s batting champion showed a fantastic performance during the game against Guam on the third day of the tournament as he hit a solo home run in the bottom of the third inning.

However, the CNMI All Stars bowed to Guam, 3-1 on the third day of the tournament.

In the first game of the tournament on July 19, the CNMI All Stars majors shut out the Philippine Team, 2-0.

On the second day, Australia defeated CNMI, 2-1. The CNMI however, turned its ire against New Zealand which they shut out, 11-0.

Guam team was raging from the first and second day of the tournament.

After routing New Zealand, 7-1 on July 19, they beat the Philippines, 5-4 on the second day. Guam went on to defeat Indonesia, 3-2 on Day 4.
