Rotary Club president Ben Babauta said the grand prize winner will have a choice of $10,000 cash or a brand new car.
The event will feature blackjack, roulette, craps, Texas hold ‘em poker, and kina, which will replace bingo.
Babauta said the proceeds will finance different projects of the club for this year.
“The proceeds will be used to fund four projects to ‘Make Dreams Real’ for our children,” he said.
These are the baby care project, the Saipan skateboard park project, the Kagman community park children’s playground and the Parade of Books.
Babauta said “fabulous door prizes” are also at stake and participants have to be present to win.
But the ticket holder is not required to be present for the raffle cash prize.
This year’s prizes are $3,000, $2,000 and $1,000 for first, second and third placers. Fourth and fifth placers will each get $500.
The games will start at 7 p.m. until midnight.
Babauta said the presentation of the cash prizes will be held at a later date but the winners will be contacted after the event for details.
Tickets cost $5 each, or $20 per five tickets.
The Rotary Club aims to raise $35,000 in ticket sales and other proceeds from the event. The club hops to have $20,000 left after the prizes and other expenses are deducted.
Rotarian Ed T. Salas, who is also a member of the House of Representatives, is urging the members of community to buy tickets and support the projects of the club.
“We hope to see you there,” he said. “Everybody can participate in the different games of chance and the chance to win the grand prize.”
