Island Signature

The handful of individuals who were invited for the event enjoyed special cocktails and partook of a premium selection of appetizers and sumptuous desserts containing a splash of the Grand Marnier.

Jazzing up the night was a “Hollywood Icon” fashion show where models decked out in red sauntered onstage to the beat of live music from the Star Society.

“Saipan is lucky to be the second island where Grand Marnier is distributed. The product was launched on Guam just in January this year,” John Antenorcruz, managing director of Titan Imports and the sole distributor of Grand Marnier on Guam and Saipan said.

He said both islands are lucky to be a part of the distribution areas of the 2007 Edition of this cognac-based orange liqueur.

Since 2003, Grand Marnier has come up with a limited edition bottle in honor of Louis-Alexander Marnier Lapostolle, who launched the first limited editions in 1927. Grand Marnier has released the Pictogram Bottle in 2003, the Grand Red Bottle in 2004, the French Touch Bottle in 2005, the Versailles Spirit Bottle in 2006, and the Lounge Edition Bottle in 2007.

“The 2008 bottle will be introduced early next year, and we are eagerly waiting for it,” Antenorcruz said.

“What makes this product most-sought after is you can’t just buy a bottle anywhere. It is only available in limited quantities at selected high-end bars and specialist retailers,” Antenorcruz said.

Five lucky winners among the visitors however do not have to wait for a miracle because they went home with a prized bottle of Grand Marnier Edition Lounge.

The Classic Red night was sponsored by Hyatt Regency Saipan, Sandcastle, Taro Leaf and The Kat 97.9.
