“I feel it is important for the people of Palau to have trust in their elected officials. It is the intention of both Senator Seid and I to have an honest and open government. I am doing the “Straight Talk” series to address the concerns that have been expressed at our Town Hall meetings. In this television show I answer the tough questions candidly and the feedback has been very positive.” Chin said.Chin continued, “My promise to the people of Palau is that once I am elected President I will bring a transparent and open government that serves all the people. The people deserve an honest government and politics as usual must end. I pride myself on always being truthful with the citizens of Palau, even when the truth isn’t easy to hear. I’m very excited about the future of our country. Together we will build a better, stronger Palau that ensures a bright future for our children and grandchildren because they are our most precious natural resources.”The send installment of the “Single Talk” program will air this Sunday at 8pm on OTV. Vice-President Chin said that he was very optimistic about the direction of the campaign and has been humbled by the support he is getting across the country.
