Pamela Waisisang through her lawyer Ben Carter has entered a plea agreement on August 5 and pleaded guilty to the charge of embezzlement.In exchange of her guilty plea, Assistant Attorney General Michael Copeland agreed to dismiss the other charges filed against her.The plea agreement filed in court stated that Waisisang will be sentenced to five years of imprisonment, all suspended except for 60 days to be served in the Court’s discretion.The plea agreement stated that defendant will be placed on active probation during the entire term of her suspended sentence.The plea agreement stated that defendant will perform 100 hours of community service and shall pay restitution and to obey all laws and orders of the Court.The defendant was charged with grand larceny, embezzlement and four counts of cheating.The information filed in court stated that defendant stole a check in the amount of $236 payable to BSU belonging to Pedro Aderdei.The information stated that defendant obtain the check by false pretenses and took the property without the owner’s consent.The affidavit of probable cause filed in court stated that Waisisang and Aderdei lived together for several yearss.The affidavit stated that the couple obtained a loan in October of 2007 in the amount of $6,000.The affidavit stated that the loan was issued on November 14, 2007 and a check was drawn on the loan for $236 made payable to BSU to pay off a loan that Aderdei had there.The affidavit stated that instead of paying Aderdei’s loan, Waisisang took the $236 check and used it around town to purchase items and receive cash back.
