Kontenders snuff out Suns, 48-36

From the beginning of the 1st half of play, Kontenders already showed some muscles by firing a total of 26 points, while Suns emitted only 12.

This rampage by Kontenders continued in 2nd half, shooting 22 points with the help of Soane Pua, Jester Kaipat, and Eugene Dillay as they take turns making successful baskets and as their teammates did not allow opening for Suns to come in with tight defense.

Dillay and Kaipat started the ball rolling in the 2nd half w,ith easy two-pointers, and followed through by Pua who made the final score for the team.

Trevor Ogomuro was also a big help to the team with his seven-point contribution in the whole game.

Ogomuro, together with John Laniyo, JR Nogis, and the rest of the Kontenders helped create a strong defensive play, preventing Suns to add more points to its 36 shots.

Suns’ highest pointer of the game, Jim Brel, was not able to match the combined effort of Kontenders players.

His14 points were not enough to boost Suns to clinch the game in its favor. More than half of his points were made in the 2nd half.
