Former Department of Community and Cultural Affairs Secretary Maggie Sablan attended a cabinet meeting Monday, Aug. 28, at the administration building on Capital Hill. During the meeting, Gov. Arnold I. Palacios thanked Sablan for her service and her contributions to DCCA and to the community. Her resignation as DCCA secretary took effect over the weekend. Frank Rabauliman has been appointed as acting DCCA secretary. Rabauliman is a former administrator of the Bureau of Environmental and Coastal Quality, and former chairman of the Northern Marianas College Board of Regents.
