NMC recognizes its longest serving employees

(NMC) — As part of its continuing efforts to recognize the contributions and public service of its employees, Northern Marianas College recently handed milestone awards to employees who reached their 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25th years of employment at the institution.  

Special recognition was announced for Interim Director for the School of Business Dr. Barbara “Bobbie” Hunter, who has worked at the College for 25 years. Assistant Professor Michael Nurmi, and Adult Basic Education Instructor Velma Mafnas were also recognized for having worked at the college for 20 years. 

The college annually recognizes employees whose long-term contributions have enhanced the growth of NMC.
